left quote

I have worked with Brandon both professionally and personally. Being in the interior design and staging business, I had many choices of whom I could have worked with on my personal project. I chose Bailey Remodeling because of their business model and quality of work. Their approach is unique in that they ask a lot of questions, communicate effectively, and never have I seen in a contract that contains an actual construction schedule/timeline included! That’s unheard of!

The following is a list of some of the key elements they do as a company: They have a full staff, including interior design, engineers and architects, so “one stop shop.” They have a project manager on site every day.

They use technology, BuilderTrend which has all documents uploaded along with photos, Gantt chart or calendar of what is being done on a weekly basis. Change orders, invoicing and payment can be made through this portal. This was incredibly helpful for me as I do not live in Louisville and travel a lot for my job.

A weekly call (every Friday) on status, check in, have any questions, etc. In the schedule, they list when they would need you to have a walk-thru at different stages of the project. When any member of the team meets with you, they use the time effectively as they respect your time as well as others to communicate effectively and get the job done.

The end experience (punch list items) is equally as positive as they “keep their word” so to speak. I had a drain that was on back order well past the project completion and they would keep me up to date on the status, scheduled the install when it came in, etc. They literally finished, completely, the project.

Are they the least expensive? No. Are they the most expensive? No. They are very cost-conscious, yet provide the information to the client to make educated decisions on the finished product. They do not cut corners, nor do they do anything exorbitant unless required by client. You definitely get what you pay for.
