Louisville Tour of Remodeled Homes Feature Project

The Tour of Remodeled Homes is back on for 2021, and the team at Bailey Remodeling is excited to take part. The Tour, planned for August 14 and 15 will be your chance to peek inside ten remodeled Louisville homes for inspiration, ideas, and insights on local remodeling companies. Can’t wait till then? Here’s a sneak peek of the Bailey remodeled home you’ll be able to see on the Tour.

The homeowners first contacted us to craft a more functional, connected space where they could gather as a family. Our focus was on the first floor, where we balanced the homeowner’s desire for an open floor plan with their need for separation by removing some walls and leaving others. Stained hardwood floors, top-of-the-line hardware, and appliances work together to match the homeowners’ transitional style, with an overall warm and inviting feel.

A Classic Kitchen

In the kitchen, we added a spacious island featuring a stunning quartz countertop. This busy family of six now has a casual place to grab a bite to eat and plenty of workspace for meal prep and more.

Details like the island’s furniture-style legs and geometric pendant lighting add warmth and character to this beautiful space. In addition, the apron-front farmhouse sink adds a timeless and elegant touch to the kitchen.

With an abundance of storage and even a convenient beverage area, this kitchen is designed to stay organized and clutter-free — and allow for stress-free entertaining. White shaker cabinets that reach to the ceiling optimize space, and convenient storage in the center island is not only beautiful but incredibly useful.

Luxurious Living Room

The living room is cozy and elegant, with white trim contrasting dark hardwood floors and a gorgeous fireplace. Large windows let in plenty of natural light, and the plantation shutters seen throughout the home add charm and character.

A built-in bookshelf adds a unique focal point without the large footprint of a traditional unit. Now, homeowners have space for extra seating when friends and family visit.

Marvelous Master Suite

The homeowner’s original bathroom was in desperate need of repairs. Instead of simply patching the problems, the homeowners decided to transform their master bath into a spacious home spa.

A double vanity in the master bathroom provides lots of storage to keep clutter off the sink and plenty of room for two people to get ready at the same time. The large shower has trendy, oversized tile with delicate trim as well as overhead and handheld showerhead options.

The homeowners can now move seamlessly from their bedroom to their bathroom and closet for the perfect spot to start and end their day.

The Ultimate Closet

This seriously spacious closet has abundant natural and artificial light thanks to a stunning chandelier, recessed lights, and more oversized windows.

The floating drawers leave room to store a laundry basket underneath, and the fun shoe shelf in the center of the room is the perfect spot to plan an outfit for a night out.

Charming Outdoor Retreat

After their first-floor transformation, the homeowners contacted us a second time to craft an outdoor living addition. Their existing space was an uncovered patio with no shade that was basically unusable in the hot summer months. Now a breathtaking covered porch, this area is packed with features that make it an ideal place for relaxing and entertaining night and day, all year round.

Homeowners can easily cook, serve, and enjoy a full meal outside, thanks to their built-in gas grill, beverage fridge, and full-sized dining table with seating for ten.

When everyone has finished a fabulous meal, they can cozy up in front of the gorgeous stone fireplace to watch a movie or just enjoy a peaceful evening outdoors in the entertainment area of the porch.

Fully covered and equipped with ceiling fans, this outdoor area is sure to keep family and friends comfortable in almost any weather. And with the convenient recessed lighting and eye-catching chandelier, they can be outside day or night.

If they’d prefer to soak in some sunshine or see the stars, an open patio is just two steps away.

Brick flooring, elegant stone, and a wrought-iron fence perfectly coordinate to make up this inviting outdoor living space full of southern charm.
